What fish are in
your river.

Every named river and waterbody the Environment Agency has surveyed, with the species monitoring recorded in it and when. A recorded species is evidence that it was found on a survey date — not proof it is there now, nor that you may fish for it.

Before you fish

A survey record is not permission.

Environment Agency ecology data carries no fishing-rights boundary and no live restriction. Confirm the fishery owner, hold a rod licence where required, and check local byelaws and close seasons.
